The large terminal handles 7,200 buses, consisting of over 188,000 passengers. The large number of passengers has made this the nation's busiest bus terminal. Connecting stops are available in New Jersey, New York, Orange Counties, upstate New York and Pennsylvania. The terminal first opened in 1950.
Originally opened in 1913, Grand Central Terminal is a landmark in Manhattan. Still a working station, Grand Central offers retail stores, restaurants and a market. Grand Central is a subway, bus and train station.
George Washington Bridge Bus Station, located in Washington Heights connects Manhattan to New Jersey, New York and other US Locations. Nearby attractions include the Cloisters, the George Washington Bridge and Saint Frances Xavier Cabrinie Chapel.
