Also known as Sounds of Brazil, SOB's is found in SoHo where it has endorsed Afro-Latino music since 1982. Today, visit SOB's for live Brazilian, Haitian, Latin, Caribbean, R&B and hip hop music. A full menu is also offered, comprised of grilled barbeque salmon, jalapeno sirloin hamburger steak, bistek Ipanema and many other delectables.
The Darby provides a dining experience steeped in luxury, elegance and glamour. Historical architecture is accented and brings back the history of the space that was once a legendary club. Today, it offers live jazz and blues along with a contemporary American and continental menu that is on the gourmet side of things. Find it in the West Village.
An historic setting on the edge of Harlem, this supper club is full of character with antique chandeliers and velvet banquets to sink into while taking in live jazz seven nights a week. The menu features soul food and new American cuisine like popcorn shrimp, pulled pork sliders, Jack Daniels barbeque chicken, organic burgers, seared salmon and much more. They are open daily from 5pm to 2am.
Duane Park presents an elegant dining room with fine entertainment that includes live jazz and burlesque dancing. Their contemporary menu feature palate-watering plates of red wine-braised beef short ribs, miso-cured duck salad, Carolina black sea bass and the like. Private parties are available.
Cuban sandwiches and flatbread pizzas can be enjoyed amidst a red and tropical decor. Formerly known as Bungalow 8, it features a mirrored cocktail bar and DJ'd music. Bottle service is offered.
Dress up for a special evening at the Box. Shows begin at 1am, and they suggest arriving by midnight. The late night menu might steal the show with offerings that may include caviar and lemon creme fraiche on grilled brioche, or aged cheddar mac and cheese.
